Ny vw up kører 100 km på en liter.. Det er edder satme da en pendlerbil der vil fremad.. Den kan koste 250k og stadig bære en god forretning for dem der kører 50k om året..

McLaren Automotive has finally released full engine specs on its new supercar, the P1.
In total, the successor to the McLaren F1 supercar makes 903 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque thanks to a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine mated to an electric motor. The gasoline engine itself is a modified version of that found in the MP4-12C, making 727 hp and 531 lb-ft of torque, while an electric motor developed in-house by McLaren Electronics is mounted directly to the engine. It is capable of adding 176 hp and 192 lb-ft of torque. Combined in a special IPAS (Instant Power Assist System) mode, McLaren claims the turbocharged hybrid engine delivers power, “more akin to a naturally aspirated engine.”
Also of note, the 212 lb electric motor is capable of propelling the car emissions free for up to 10 km (6 miles) in a special E-mode. While charged by the engine, a plug-in charger can also be used.
In addition to IPAS, the P1 will boast another nifty acronym: DRS. Familiar to fans of Formula One racing the Drag Reduction System will offer added power at speed by reducing wind resistance. While F1 cars like the McLaren MP4-28 have a removable flap on the rear wing, the P1 will reduce the angle on its massive rear spoiler by 23 percent. Activated by a button on the steering wheel, the system automatically deactivates when the button is released or if the brakes are pressed.

Though itâs far from the most successful, Spyker is certainly one of the most interesting car companies in the world. Fourteen years ago, Victor Muller revived a nigh-on totally forgotten fin de siècle Dutch automotive brand. He proceeded to build off-kilter Audi-powered supercars with lavish steampunk interiors. He enlisted â80s Olympic sensation Carl Lewis as a spokesfigure. He went in on the purchase of the former Midland F1 team, which raced as Spyker F1 for a season before continuing on as Force India without Spykerâs involvement.
Some might be cowed after the failure of an F1 program, but Muller was thinking bigger, purchasing Saab from General Motors, an adventure even more ill-starred than his abbreviated stint at the pinnacle of motorsport.
Surviving such a wrenching drama couldâve soured many on the business, permanently. But not Muller. After two years of sitting out the Geneva motor show, Spyker will debut a new automobile. Billed as a concept, the B6 is likely a taste of what the company plans to build next, and the rumors suggest itâs not an SUV built in collaboration with the Chinese automaker Youngman.
The smart money seems to be on a car smaller and cheaper than the C8 Aileron, something built to do battle with the Porsche 911. Aside from the above teaser image, thatâs really all weâve got. Is there a place for the company in the current autmotive landscape? Weâd like to hope so.
According to the companyâs website, there are currently 14 days until the "global resurgence" of Spyker. That sounds like a bit of dreamy hyperbole, and Mullerâs nothing if not a dreamer. This industry needs more dreamers; we hope Muller can make a go of this latest flight of fancy"
