"According to the forum member who posted the photo at Digital Corvettes, the wreck was much worse than it appears in the image.
Wrecked last week on an unnamed stretch of road in Arizona, the Stingray "hit guardrail on left and bounced back to rocks." Ouch.
The accident is said to have occurred in a section of tight switchbacks, which could indicate the speed of the Corvette was fairly low--though from the distance off the road and the inclination against that wall of rock, it seems that even in the tight switchbacks, this particular Stingray was moving at a fair clip.
Itâs not clear who was driving this shiny new blue Corvette, but given the newer-than-new status, weâd guess it was a GM driver or dealer. Whoever it was, as the forum poster said, "Somebody had a bad day."
